RIP, My little game

First of all, I am sorry for the lack of updates on my situation. It is a time of change in my life and there is a lot of uncertainty about my future at the moment. Although I would like to finish my game, recent events had made it clear that it won't be an option without hurting someone I care about a lot. Therefore, the game is pretty much dead unless some kind of a minor miracle occur in the future (including but not limited to: someone donates millions of dollars to me so I don't have to find a full time job or think about starving to death, winning the lotto, finding out I have months to live and I somehow decide to use the reminder of my life to leave a piece of myself behind, etc XD).

Back to being serious, I would like to use this chance to say thank you to the people who supported me in the past and to the people who donated to keep my fridge full. As for the fans who are disappointed about the death of my little game, I would like to encourage you all to try to make a game yourself. It was a fun experience for me and you never know what unexpected thing would happen to you along the way. I certainly found something precious during my short live gaming making career.

If some of you would like to pick up the project and continue the development, I am sorry that to tell you that I would like my story to stay mine, although...this is the internet, so I know I am totally powerless to stop you. However, if you want the ask me where I found the resources, you can always email me about it (I don't have any copy right claim on the resources used in my little non-profit project). If you like to learn about how to make RAGS game you can always check out my game since it doesn't have any password lock in the development kits. You could also email me about it, although I might not have the time to give you a detail explanation, nor remember how some of the stuff works.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone, or curse this soulless capitalist shopping day! Personally, I had a wonderful night with someone special and I wish it is the same for all of you.

I know what all of you wanna to ask (if anyone are still reading my blog); No, there is still no update on my little game and other than some planning, not much has been done on it. Relationship and school work have totally consumed all my free time...which is kind of a lie :P, they consumed MOST of my free time. However, I don't think I will be motivated till summer holiday, that's assuming if I don't find a job right away after school. All I can say for certain is that, I still want to finish the game someday, I am just not sure when. In the mean time, I will just keep paying 10 dollars each year for a RAGS license to remind myself I have a half finish game. XD

Hopefully, things will change sometime during summer. I will update the blog if there is any news regarding the game. :)

Gratitue

Thank you all for all the kind words and understanding. Although I really want to replay your continuous support by making games for you, it is time for me to take care of all the real life stuff first. What really sucks is that I have all the story line plan out already. However, an optimistic way to look at the situation is that it won't be difficult for me to come back to finish what I started. Hopefully, I will be back sometime during summer next year. As for the others who wants me to continue to blog about random things, I might do that, but it will definitely not in a regular basis. I think my audience won't enjoy me talking about mathematics or investment strategics. :P That said, if I come across any adult games that I enjoy, I will share with you guys about my findings.

Finally, I just want to say best of luck for all of you. Hopefully, I will see you guys soon and it is always possible that I might win the lotto, so I can hire people to work on my game! >:D Keep your fingers crossed and pray for my luck, even though statistically I will get into 3 car accidents on my way to buy lotto tickets before winning it! :P
